The nose is fresh and offers a very fine intensity, a fine richness as well as a fine spheric side. It reveals notes of dry kumquat, dry quince, small nots of crushed Mirabelle associated with touches of small dry white fruits as well as a hint of dry yellow currant, almond flowers, tobacco, a discreet hint of Eau-de-vie plum and an imperceptible hint of eucalyptus. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, fullness, a small freshness, dynamism and residual sugar. On the palate this Porto expresses notes of quince jam, crushed Mirabelle, small notes of cooked yellow peach associated with small touches of crystallized citrus as well as a subtle hint of brioche, patisserie and an imperceptible hint of honey (in the background). Good length. A fine power and a discreet hint of pepper, dry biscuit on the finish/persistence.
