On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy wild redcurrant, juicy wild strawberry, small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with small touches of racy minerality, sweet spices as well as fine hints of nutmeg, pepper, discreet hints of toasted and a subtle hint of cocoa. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A persistence on notes of cocoa.
