It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, bright wild black berries, small notes of cherry associated with touches of violet plum, chocolate as well as fine hints of mild tobacco, nutmeg, very discreet hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of hazelnut/pastries. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize, precision as well as a small well-built richness, precision, gourmandize and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, pulpy raspberry, small notes of cherry associated with touches of bright violet plum, crushed blackberry as well as small hints of violet, toasted, mild tobacco and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant, precise and finely firm. Good length. A very discreet firmness on the finish/persistence.
