The palate is fruity, elegant, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a beautiful definition, suavity as well as delicacy, silkiness, a small power (controlled) and a small deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy wild cassis, pulpy blackberry, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of small crushed black berries, plum, cornflower, strawberry as well as hints of violet, cherry blossom, liquorice, nutmeg, a discreet hint of toasted, an imperceptible hint of hazelnut and grey pepper (in the background). Tannins are elegant, precise and justly firm. Good length. Very fine hints of tonka bean/dark chocolate on the persistence.
