The nose is racy, aromatic and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, deepness and a certain intensity. It reveals notes of bigarreau cherry, violet, small notes of rose associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, crushed blackberry as well as very fine hints of liquorice, tobacco leaf and very discreet hints of camphor, grey pepper and granit. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, all in length and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension, suavity as well as a beautiful definition, finesse of the suavity, a beautiful silky touch, a very fine unctuosity and delicacy (despite structure/power). On the palate this wine expresses notes of Boysen berry, juicy/ripe cherry, small notes of violet, rose, pink laurel associated with touches of raspberry, small acidulous berries as well as fine hints of dry mild tobacco, nutmeg, granit and very fine hints of dry leaf. A very discreet hint of chocolate on the persistence/aftertaste. Good length.
