The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries, small notes of fleshy cherry associated with fine touches of strawberry, violet/cornflower as well as very fine hints of liquorice, laurel berries, sense of the place (terroir, granit), very discreet hints of toasted hazelnut and timut pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a juicy/finely acidulous, minerality, a small gourmandize, a fine concentration and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, juicy blackberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of lily/fresh cornflower, sense of the place/laurel berries and very discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. A fine salinity in the finish/persistence. A very discreet hint of hazelnut/toasted almond and vanilla on the persistence.
