The nose is aromatic, racy and offers power, richness/complexity as well as a very fine incisive side. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy blueberry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of vanilla, violet, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of fleshy cherry, cherry blossom, chocolate, sense of the place/dry local vegetation, dry almond, pepper and an imperceptible saline hint (in the background). The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced, mineral, finely tight and offers juiciness as well as a very fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of very ripe wild blackberry, ripe bigarreau cherry, small notes dry violet associated with small touches of cassis, liquorice, small dry blue fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper, an imperceptible hint of granit and laurel berries. Salinity on the finish. A wine to keep with a beautiful potential.
