Champagne Bollinger – La Grande Année 2012, Rosé – Brut

Champagne Bollinger – La Grande Année 2012, Rosé – Brut

(disgorgement: 08/2019) The nose is fresh and offers very fine richness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, elegance as well as deepness. It reveals notes of raspberry, peach cream and small notes of fresh cherry associated with small touches of crushed apple, fine hints of lychee, peach flowers as well as discreet hints of biscuit, almond and an imperceptible hint of vanilla cream (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity, well-balanced, full of accuracy and offers a certain richness (but all in balance), elegance, an acidulous frame, a beautiful creamy texture as well as precision. The effervescence is very fine, creamy and elegant. On the palate this Champagne wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh lemon, fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh strawberry associated with a touch of citron, crushed green apple, subtle hints of egg cream as well as very discreet hints of pâtisseries and an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla pod. Good length.
