Champagne De Villepin – Brut Rosé

The nose is fresh and offers a small power. It reveals notes of fresh quince, crunchy nectarine and small notes of crunchy apple associated with small touches of sense of the place (terroir), sweet spices, nutmeg, fresh cassis as well as a very discreet hint of almond and an imperceptible hint of clove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers minerality, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness as well as a small fat. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of juicy raspberry, juicy vine peach and small notes of juicy nectarine associated with small touches of fresh cassis, discreet hints of juicy quince, spices as well as an imperceptible hint of fresh almond and biscuit. Good length. A very discreet firmness on the persistence.
