Champagne Christian Briard – Cuvée Rubis – Brut

The nose is fruity, fresh and dynamic. It reveals notes of fresh pear, fresh raspberry and small notes of lemon associated with hints of citrus fruits, zest, rose and a very discreet hint of lychee. The palate is fruity, beautifully fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful suavity as well as a beautiful juiciness of the fruit. The effervescence is fine and offers elegance as well as dynamism. On the palate this Champagne wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh cassis and small notes of fresh lemon associated with small touches of fresh pear as well as discreet hints of fresh mandarin, a subtle hint of white flowers and an imperceptible hint of brioche (in the background). Good length.
