The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a fine intensity and a small sensation of tension. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild fruits, small notes of bramble, violet associated with touches of crushed cherry, laurel berries, pink laurel as well as discreet hints of crushed strawberry, pepper and a subtle hint of olive tree. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a small concentration, a spheric side (brings gourmandize), fullness, juiciness, concentration, a fine acidulous frame as well as a certain aromatic purity and finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, crushed wild blackberry, small notes of small pulpy/bright black berries, cherry stem as well as small hints of liquorice, tobacco, fine hints of chocolate (in the background), caramelization, discreet hints of olive tree, laurel berries, local garrigue and mild tobacco. Tannins are structuring. Good length.
