Domaine de La Réserve d’O – Hissez O 2018 – Terrasses du Larzac

The nose is elegant, flowery, complex and offers a small richness (full of control), an aromatic purity as well as a beautiful precision. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of black cherry, ripe violet plum, violet, small notes of bramble, blackberry associated with touches of cherry blossom, hints of sense of the place (local biotope) as well as fine hints of tobacco, liquorice stick, a very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut. The palate is fruity, fresh, juicy, mineral, gourmand and offers a certain richness (full of justness), a beautiful finesse of the guideline and a very fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild cherry, ripe blackberry, small notes of small ripe wild red berries associated with a touch of plum, violet as well as fine hints of sense of the place, very discreet hints of cardamom, tobacco, an imperceptible hint of black olive and nutmeg (in the background). Tannins are elegant, precise, straight and finely powdered. Good length. Very discreet hints of caramelization on the persistence which bright gourmandize/appetence. A wine full of control and precision.
