The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine power, intensity (full of control), a small flattery side and a certain gourmandize. It reveals notes of black cherry/bright bigarreau cherry, bright Boysen berry, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with small touches of violet, Cuben pepper, olive tree as well as fine hints of tonka bean, sense of the place, very discreet hints of thyme, spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a small juiciness, a fine acidulous frame, finesse, a fine grain, elegance, tension as well as a small power (full of justness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous bigarreau cherry, juicy raspberry, small notes of Boysen berry associated with a touch of acidulous plum as well as fine hints of violet, lily, pink laurel, a very discreet hint of tobacco, cardamom and sweet spices. Tannins are precise and very finely firm. A very discreet hint of mocha and toasted almond on the persistence. Good length.
