Domaine de la Prose – Embruns 2018 – Languedoc

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power, deepness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain (very discreetly tight). This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of bright cassis, small black fruits, small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of lily, blueberry as well as a hint of pistil, fine hints of sweet spices, a very discreet hint of clove and biotope (garrigue, pink laurel). The palate is fruity, elegant, mineral and offers freshness, tension, a good structure as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful balance, gourmandize, a certain generosity and a fine aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, juicy/fresh Boysen berry, small notes of bright raspberry associated with a touch of violet plum as well as hints of zan, fresh mild tobacco, cardamom, discreet hints of almond, black olive and pink laurel. Good length. Tannins are precise, finely firm.
