The nose is fresh, elegant and offers power, a good definition as well as an aromatic justness. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of quite ripe cassis, quite ripe strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of small pulpy wild berries, fine hints of lily, fresh mild tobacco, spices, a very discreet hint of cinnamon and mushroom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers freshness, a beautiful juiciness, tension, finesse, a superb bright/juicy fruit as well as deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh Boysen berry, pulpy/bright cassis and small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with small touches of bright plum, fresh violet, fresh lily as well as fine hitns of small red berries, rose, very discreet hints of nutmeg, dry almond, an imperceptible hint of tobacco, mushroom and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant and offer a fine straightness as well as a certain small firmness.
