Amiral de Beychevelle 2019 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness, a small flowery side as well as elegance. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, cornflower, small notes of violet associated wiwht fine touches of crushed raspberry, small crushed red berries as well as fine hints of toasted almond, iris, zan and an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco. The palate is fresh, juicy, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a good definition, gourmandize, juiciness, a small tension, freshness, a fine straightness as well as a very fine density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/huicy Boysen berry, pulpy/juicy cassis, small notes of crunchy/juicy wild raspberry associated with touches of iris, cornflower as well as very fine hints of small juicy/fresh blue berries, toasted, toasted almond, a subtle hint of cardamom and a very discreet hint of mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of grilled (in the background).
