This Icewine was fermented in new French oak before being allowed to age an additional 3 months in oak prior to bottling. Vidal tend to have more tropical fruit flavors and this is a good example with its aromas of mangoes, pineapple, orange peel, baking spices and toasty vanilla. With its thick skin and natural acidity, Vidal Blanc rightfully dominates the Ontario ice wine scene. It’s a creamy, unctuous nectar with a smooth texture and a sophisticated balance.
