Chateau Hostens Picant – Cuvée des Demoiselles 2019 – Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a very fine intensity and a fine juiciness. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy apple, pear, small notes of lemon flowers associated with very fine hints of juicy grapefruit, rose, discreet hints of juicy quenette. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, a good definition as well as a small tension, a fine juiciness and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe lemon, pulpy pear, small notes of crushed pear associated with fine touches of zests, ripe/juicy grapefruit as well as a subtle hint of lychee and lemon flowers. Good length.
