Château Clauzet 2019 – Saint-Estèphe 

The nose is fruity and offers elegance, a fine grain and a good definition. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, crushed blackberry, small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of violet, liquorice, juicy/acidulous violet plum as well as fine hints of nutmeg and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, juicy, well-built and offers a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/fleshy blackberry, small notes of violet, small red berries associated with touches of strawberry, violet, nutmeg as well as very fine hints of vanilla, almond and mild tobacco leaf. Tannins are finely marked.
