The nose offers power and a fine incisive side. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe raspberry, small notes of grey pepper/timut associated with touches of cassis, zan, crushed small red berries as well as a hint of cornflower, vanilla, toasted and a very discreet hint of rose (in the background). The palate is fruity, finely tight and offers a certain juiciness, fat, a mineral frame, a fine tension, roundness as well as a certain richness, a fine unctuosity and a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed/fleshy raspberry, crushed cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy/juicy small red berries, juicy blackberry as well as hints of racy minerality, toasted, tonka bean/chocolate, crushed almond, vanilla and fine hints of clove. Good length.
