The nose is fruity and offers a controlled power, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a small sensation of the tension. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small berries, small notes of violet associated with small touches of black pepper, violet, iris as well as fine hints of camphor, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourandize, suavity, freshness, a small tension, precision as well as a bright fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright Boysen berry, juicy cassis, small notes of bright raspberry associated with a touch of crunchy volet plum, iris, cornflower as well as hints of zan, black pepper and a subtile hint of mild tobacco. Tannins are very fine and finely tight. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of grilled/bitterness of the cocoa (nice) in the finish/persistence.
