It reveals notes of ripe Boysen berry, lily, small notes of iris associated with small touches of crushed strawberry, small blue fruits as well as discreet hints of pepper, spices and sense of the place/terroir. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers minerality, juiciness, a good definition as well as gourmandize, tension, concentration in finesse, deepness, a beautiful fleshy/ripe/juicy fruit which offers density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy wild cassis, juicy/pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of violet associated with small touches of iris, camphor, fresh mild tobacco, sense of the place and very discreet hints of spices. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Very discreet hints of cocoa and coffee on the finish/persistence.
