The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small ripe/fresh black fruits, small notes of violet associated with small touches of wild raspberry, grey pepper as well as fine hints of spices and tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, gourmandize, a small tension, a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality, suavity as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis, small notes of strawberry associated with touches of liquorice, chocolate, crushed raspberry as well as very fine hints of caramelization, toasted and dark chocolate/cocoa. Good length. A very discreet almost saline hint on the finish/persistence. A sapide, gourmand and harmonious wine.
