Château Certan de May de Certan 2019 – Pomerol

The nose is elegant, fine and offers power. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with fine touches of bright blueberry, lily, violet as well as hints of racy minerality, toasted, black tea and discreet hints of chocolate. The palate is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful delicacy, a fine aerial side, finesse as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, juicy / acidulous raspberry and small notes of crushed purple plum associated with small touches of juicy / acidulous blueberry as well as hints of cornflowers, lily and camphor. Good length. Tannins are elegant, very fine and delicate. The persistence is sapid, elegant and gourmande.
