The nose is aromatic, elegant, powerful and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, deepness and intensity (in delicacy). It reveals notes of pulpy Boysen berry, crushed strawberry, small notes of small crushed blue fruits associated with touches of cornflower, lilac/violet, liquorice stick as well as very fine hints of camphor/smoke, cardamom, chocolate, ripe almond and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, very discreetly tight, racy, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely frame, a beautiful delicacy, finesse of the grain as well as elegance, subtility, a very discreet creaminess and a small racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with small touches of saline/iodine minerality, liquorice, chocolate/tonka bean as well as fine hints of violet, fresh flowers, nutmeg and fresh vanilla pod. Tannins are well-built, racy and finely chewy. A very fine chew and very discreet hints of almond on the finish/persistence. A beautiful persistence which brings gourmandize.
