The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers tension, suavity, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a small freshness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of ripe/pulpy strawberry associated with small touches of chocolate, crunchy/fresh violet, toasted, caramelization as well as a discreet hint of almond. Tannins are well-built, elegant and very finely firm. An imperceptible hint of crushed almond on the persistence.
