The nose is fruity and offers power, concentration, a fine grain, a fine intensity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, wild strawberry, small notes of wild cassis associated with touches of small crushed blue berries, lily, violet as well as hints of racy minerality, camphor, cocoa and a very discreet hint of grey pepper. The palate is mineral, racy and offers tension,a good finesse of the construction, juiciness, freshness as well as a small almost aerial side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, juicy/fresh blackberry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of violet, a hint of crushed plum, fine hints of fresh liquorice, racy minerality, chocollate as well as a very discreet hint of camphore and an imperceptible hint of cuben pepper (in the backgound). Tannins are well-built and racy. There’s a hint of cocoa (in the background) on the persistence.
