The nose is racy and offrs a very fine intensity and elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy Boysen berry, juicy wild strawberry, small notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of pulpy blueberry, graphite as well as fine hints of nutmeg, sweet spices and a discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, racy and offers freshness, a fine acidulous frame, pulpiness, fat and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed raspberry, chocolate, sugared mild tobacco as well as hints of pulpy/crushed violet plum, caramelization, coffee (in the background) and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and finely tight. A persistence on notes of chocolate and caramelization.
