The nose is aromatic and offers a fine grain as well as a controlled power. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, crushed strawberry, small notes of violet plum associated with fine touches of blueberry, cornflower, very fine hints of caramelization, toasted almond as well as subtle hints of vanilla, camphor, lily and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, elegance, a beautiful gourmandize, a good definition, a very fine onctuosity as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/crushed blackberry, creamy strawberry, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of pulpy violet plum as well as fine hints of zan, sweet spices, nutmeg and a very fine hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
