Château La Couronne 2019 – Montagne Saint-Emilion 

The nose is fruity and offers a small controled power, a fine richness as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of small pulpy/juicy wild berries, pulpy/juicy cassis, small notes of violet associated with fine touches of zan, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers freshness, a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, small pulpy/juicy wild berries, small notes of violet associated with touches of pulpy/juicy raspberry, a subtle hin of juicy/crunchy cherry, iris as well as discreet hints of spices and mocha.
