The nose offers power and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry, small notes of pulpy/juicy small fruits associated with touches of spices, small touches of juicy violet plum, crushed red berries as well as fine hints of mild tobacco and very discreet hints of grey pepper, clove and an imperceptible hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, suavity, roundness as well as power, a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright Boysen berry, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with small touches of juicy/birhg violet plum, griotte as well as hints of toasted, sweet spices and cloves. Tannins are very finely tight. Good length.
