The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, gourmandize, tension, a racy minerality, a good finesse of the grain, a fine fat, juiciness, a fine onctuosity as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy cassis, juicy/crunchy blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet, iris as well as fine hints of chocolate, toasted almond and a subtle hint of caramelization (in the background).
