The nose is very finely tight. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, spices, small notes of chocolate associated with touches of fleshy strawberry as well as fine hints of clove, nutmeg and discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension, fat, roundness and a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small red berries, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet, a racy minerality as well as a fine hint of cassis leaf, chocolate, toasted, discreet varietal hint and clove. Tannins are very finely tight.
