Brio de Cantenac Brown 2019 – Margaux

The nose is elegant, racy, powerful and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful power as well as a bright fruit. It reveals notes of bright Boysen berry, pulpy cassis, small notes of crushed cherry associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, delicate hints of “sense of the place”/terroir, zan, violet, crushed blueberry as well as fine hints of sweet spices and a subtle hint of Timut pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, tension as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crushed cherry, Boysen berry and small notes of pulpy/bright cassis associated with touches of small juicy red berries, a fine touch of racy minerality/terroir as well as fine hints of sweet spices, zan, crushed almond and lily/cornflower. Tannins are elegant and very finely firm.
