Château Apogée 2019 – Lalande de Pomerol 

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, violet, small notes of wild blackberry associated with small touches of cornflowers, bright small blue berries as well as hints of hints cardamom and toasted. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a beautiful juicy/fresh fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, brigh violet plum, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of crushed raspberry, small pulpy/juicy black fruits as well as fine hints of black tea, liquorice, lily and cardamom/chocolate. Tannins are structuring. Good length. A subtle hint of dry almond on the persistence.
