Chateau De Malleret 2019 – Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

The nose is fruity and offers precision, a fine intensity and elegance. It reveals notes of wild cassis, blackberry, small notes of lily associated with fine touches of iris, crunchy/juicy violet plum as well as discreet hints of Sichuan peper and an imperceptible hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a fine juiciness, a juicy/acidulous fruit and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy cassis, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with fine touches of violet plum, iris, lily as well as a discreet hint of black tea and toasted. Tannins are precise and structuring. Good length.
