The nose is very finely tight and offers a good definition, a small power, a fine grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry, small notes of grey pepper associated with fine hints of mild tobacco, almond, raspberry as well as touches of wild cassis, touches of pepper and spices. The palate is juicy, mineral, fresh and offers roundness, a small fat and a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy raspberry, small notes of cassis associated with touches of violet, lily, a racy minerality/sense of the place as well as hints of zan, nutmeg and sweet spices. Tannins are well-built and very finely firm. Good length and good persistence.
