The nose is powerful and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small gourmandize (in the background). It reveals notes of caramelization, caramelized orange zests, quince, small notes of lemon associated with fine touches of vine peach, juicy William pear as well as a subtle hint of pineapple, lemon flowers, nutmeg, incense, a very discreet hint of grilled and grilled oak. The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers suavity, a beautiful roundness, a small silkiness, tension as well as a small straightness and finesse. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of caramelized mandarine, quince, crushed pear, small notes of lemon associated with small touches of marmalade, caramelization, Tarte Tatin as well as fine hints of grey pepper, toasted, a subtle hint of chocolate and vanilla (in the background). An imperceptible almost tannic hint on the finish/persistence. Good length.
