Château du Carrubier – Cuvée Ingénue 2019 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is flowery and aromatic. It reveals notes of rose, lily of the valley, small notes of lemon flowers associated with small touches of sugared mild grapefruit, lychee as well as a very discreet hint of passion fruit and a subtle hint of lavender (in the background). The palate is fresh, mineral, flowery, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh rose petal, juicy/ripe lychee, small notes of green apple associated with small touches of lily of the valley, mandarine flowers, lavender as well as hints of crushed white fruits, quenette and an imperceptible hint of rosemary (in the background). Good length.
