Château de Vaucouleurs 2019 – Côtes de Provence

The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine deepness as well as a good purity of the fruit. It reveals notes of ripe raspberry, crushed strawberry, small notes of crushed brugnon associated with fine hints of lychee and a very discreet hint of lemon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, precision, a fine tension as well as roundness, a good freshness, finesse of the grain, suavity, a fine sapidity and a fine minerality (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fresh/ripe redcurrant, small notes of juicy green apple associated with fine hints of nectarine and a subtle hint of lychee. An imperceptible hint of verbena in the finish.
