The nose is elegant, racy, beautifully built and offers a nice finesse of grain as well as a small complexity quite aromatic. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy yellow apple, quince, small notes of toasted oak associated with fine hazelnut hints, yellow berries as well as fine juicy Williams pear hints, bee wax, sense of place (dry local grove) and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, racy, beautifully framed, fresh, mineral, elegant, beautifully led and offers a nice finesse of grain, tension (in finesse), a small power (in control). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy quince, juicy kumquat, small notes of juicy/finely acidulous apricot associated with touches of juicy/crushed yellow nectarine, fine pineapple, quénette, as well as discreet hints of beeswax, hazelnut, toasted chestnut and a sense of place. Good persistence. Good length.
