The nose is elegant, racy and offers a beautiful definition, power, deepness as well as a beautiful finesse and a small aerial side. It reveals notes of creamy cassis, crushed Boysen berry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of creamy blue fruits as well as fine hints of bright violet plum, nutmeg, sense of the place, violet as well as very discreet hints of liquorice, a subtle hint of cardamom/caramelization, pink laurel, saffron and black olive (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a beautiful purity of the fruit, a fine creaminess, gourmandize, tension as well as a small aerial side and a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, creamy Boysen berry, small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of pulpy/juicy cherry as well as hints of chocolate, caramelization, very discreet hints of vanilla and toasted. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A beautiful persistence with a subtle hint of cocoa.
