The nose is beautiful built, intense, powerful (full of elegance) and offers subtility, small concentration (full of control), deepness and complexity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small wild berries, small notes of local copse (sense of the place), cuben pepper associated with touches of crushed/candied raspberry, crushed violet plum as well as hints of liquorice stick, violet, black tea, a subtle hint of cardamom, a very discreet hint of black olive, pink laurel and an imperceptible hint of saffron. The palate is elegant, racy, full of balanced and offers a beautiful juicy/ripe/pulpy fruit, concentration, deepness, a beautiful definition, a purity aromatic, a fine acidulous frame, freshness as well as a fine tension, a beautiful finesse of the structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, bright Boysen berry, small notes of small wild black berries associated with small touches of bright raspberry, pulpy red cherry, violet as well as fine touches of pink laurel, fine hints of black tea, liquorice stick, fresh mild tobacco and discreet hints of black olive/garrigue (in the background). A beautiful wine.
