Pierre Morin – Chêne Marchaud 2018 – Sancerre

Pierre Morin – Chêne Marchaud 2018 – Sancerre

The nose is fresh, racy and offers a very fine incisive side, a beautiful finesse of the grain and definition. It reveals notes of juicy/fresh lemon, fresh lychee, small notes of juicy/fresh nectarine associated with small touches of mandarine and an imperceptible hint of quince. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, tension, precision as well as freshness and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy yellow nectarine associated with fine touches of racy minerality/terroir, a very discreet hint of zests and an imperceptible hint of jasmine (in the background). Good length.
