Château Grand Jean 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is aromatic and offers a small freshness as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of coffee, toasted oak and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of cassis, violet as well as fine hints of raspberry, spices and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers juiciness, tension, a good definition as well as concentration / density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / juicy cassis, small black fruits and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of small black berries, coffee, dark chocolate as well as a subtle hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are structuring and a bit firm.
