Domaine de la Grave – Vieilles Vignes 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers juiciness as well as a beautiful ripe / juicy fruit. It reveals notes of juicy boysenberry, juicy / crunchy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with hints of violet, crunchy/juicy small purple plum, licorice as well as hints of spices and pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a good definition, juiciness, a small fat, a fine suavity as well as gourmandise. In mouth this wine expresses notes of cassis, small black fruits and small notes of juicy black plum associated with touches of violet, crushed raspberry, crushed cherry as well as hints of incense, dark chocolate, toasted, slight hints of gray pepper and discreet hints of vanilla (in the background). Good length. Tannins are structuring and slightly marked.
