Château Pierrail 2019 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers richness as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry, small notes of small crushed red berries associated with small touches of small pulpy blue fruits, violet, vanilla as well as fine hints of toasted and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a small concentration, gourmandize, a fine juiciness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed griotte, violet, cornflower, small notes of juicy/pulpy cassis associated with small touches of vanilla, pulpy raspberry, racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of toasted, sugared mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of cardamom. Good length.
