On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, black cherry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small black berries, wild strawberry, juicy/fresh Boysen berry as well as very fine hints of sweet spices, nutmeg, lily, coffee and roasted hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are fine, elegant, gourmand and offer a very fine chew. Good persistence.
