The nose is fruity, beautifully defined and offers a certain freshness, a beautiful definition as well as a rather ripe/fleshy/gourmand fruit, power (but in finesse) and juiciness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blueberry, small notes of ripe gariguette strawberry associated with a touch of Boysen berry, lily/violet as well as fine hints of graphite, nutmeg and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight and offers straightness, a very fine austerity, an acidulous/fresh frame, precision as well as suavity and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/juicy cassis, blackberry, small notes of juicy/ripe raspberry associated with very fine hints of juicy/ripe blueberry, cherry, griotte as well as discreet hints of coffee, juniper berries, cardamom, lily and spices. Tannins are elegant and well-built. A very fine sapidity, tension and firmness on the finish.
