Alto de Cantenac Brown 2019 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a small intensity as well as deepness. It reveals notes of lemon, zests and small notes of fresh quince associated with small touches of fresh peach as well as very fine hints of small yellow fruits and a very discreet hint of butter/hazelnut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, definition, a very discreet saline hint (in the background) and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe lemon, quince and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with small touches of crushed Williams pear, white flowers/honeysuckle as well as very discreet hints of chestnut tree/beeswax. Good length. A discreet almost tannic sensation on the finish/persistence.
